Tidal Current Observation
- The tidal currents consist of water currents generated by tidal movements. We identify the characteristics of tidal currents including intensity and direction by using a hydrometer.
- It is used for basic data for flow pattern research, harbor design, tidal current/tidal power generation design, tidal current forecasts and sailing.
Suspended Sediment Observation
- We measure the change in the concentration of suspended sediments by checking seawater samples or a turbidity meter installed underwater.
- It is used as an indicator to show the characteristics of maritime environment by analyzing data such as the concentration of suspended sediment and the sedimentation rate.
